Would you like to shape more than you manage?

As Head of Compliance, Legal & Governance (m/f/d), you will play a key role in building and further developing a modern compliance and governance framework for Toyota Automated Logistics EMEA/APAC. As a trusted sparring partner to the management team and Executive Board, you will translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic business solutions and lay the foundation for sustainable growth. You will bring together an international, interdisciplinary team and foster a corporate culture in which integrity, accountability and compliance are understood as drivers of success.

Your impact

You shape and lead the compliance, ethics and data privacy strategy for Toyota Automated Logistics EMEA/APAC and continuously develop a future-ready compliance framework
You advise the management team, Executive Board and senior leaders on compliance, governance and risk matters, positioning integrity as an integral part of the corporate strategy
You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in the areas of anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, data privacy, trade compliance and speak-up systems
You lead and develop a small, international team of legal, compliance and data privacy professionals, fostering a shared identity and cross-functional collaboration
You establish the Legal function as a strategic business partner and advise on commercial law matters, contracts, data privacy, compliance and corporate governance
You take responsibility for the company-wide management of legal and regulatory risks, ensuring that risks are identified early and considered in business decisions

What makes you a great fit?

You hold a relevant academic degree and have extensive professional and leadership experience in legal, compliance and corporate governance, ideally gained in international companies and/or leading commercial law firms
You know how to successfully lead, develop and bring together international and interdisciplinary teams in a complex environment
You have sound experience in building, developing and managing compliance management systems, as well as comprehensive knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, data privacy, trade compliance and corporate governance
You combine strong commercial acumen with the ability to integrate legal and regulatory requirements into business strategies and corporate decision-making
You stand out through strong communication and advisory skills and engage confidently with management teams, Executive Boards, supervisory bodies and other senior stakeholders
You see yourself as a pragmatic business partner and change-maker. You combine legal excellence with a solution-oriented approach and balance regulatory requirements, risk management and business objectives
You have business-fluent English skills; additional language skills, ideally Spanish, are an advantage
